Leadership is not about a title. It is about influence.

Influence Edge Leadership Lab (5-Week Wrap-Up)
“Leadership is not about a title. It is about influence”.
Over the past 5 weeks, leaders and professionals across countries came together in a small-group Mastermind to explore what it truly means to become a person of influence.
Our participants represented different ages, professional backgrounds, and cultures – yet one core truth stood out:
Influence is a leadership skill relevant in every role and every relationship.
Through guided coaching conversations, reflective learning, and story-based exploration, we discovered that influence is a process, built on:
Modelling values, Motivating others, Mentoring through clarity & emotional strength, Navigating through obstacles, Connecting with empathy, Empowering with confidence, and ultimately… Multiplying leaders to carry the legacy forward.
We explored 10 transformational concepts, including:
Creating a growth environment
Overcoming self-doubt through mentoring
Synergy using “Their Way → My Way → Brainstorm → Highway”
The power of listening and emotional strength in leadership
Leading from the inside-out
What made this cohort exceptional was the vulnerability in conversations and the depth in reflection.
Participants’ takeaways :
“Well, in the last couple of sessions what stands out for me the most is that now you have a framework process that you can work within, to check myself. Am I an effective leader? Do I empower? Do I influence? For me, the next step would be entrepreneurship, because has helped me to think about my own leadership capabilities for myself. Am I leading myself effectively to get to that entrepreneur part where I’m a really… I have an effective coaching business?”
“I will connect with more people and influence them in whatever framework we had learned through these sessions. And for me, always, I think that leaders are not born and every individual has that ability to become a leader. As an ordinary person, also, we get influenced by many people around us. But the one who wins the heart becomes the leader. So, I would like to get my journey through that personal learning. And try to influence more people with all positiveness, and try to build that leadership in me.”
“These were good conversation and good sessions. I learnt a lot.”
“The session was quite insightful. I particularly liked the perspectives other participants shared from their experiences in leadership or working with leaders. Coach Debjani also facilitated the session well enough for proper sharing to happen.”
“All very good.”
“The session was very productive, and I gained valuable insights from the different coaches last night.”
I will soon open applications for the next Mastermind & Group Coaching rounds. If this message resonates with your leadership journey and you’d like to join future sessions or be featured on the Transition Coach Podcast, I would love to connect.
